To support the event, the Cité de l'espace and IPS are looking for volunteers to help having a flawless event.
The volunteers have to be fluent in English.
You can apply by clicking here below! Volunteers applications will close on May 28th!
Logistics set up
Before the beginning of the events, some help will be needed to get the welcome kits, the welcome tent… ready (bagging, set up of the welcome tent…).
The Welcome tent is located at the entry of Cité de l’espace. Help will be needed to hand out badges, programs, lanyards, welcome kits… and orientate participants. Persons from the organization will also be present to deal with registration issues.
The welcome desk will be located in the Astralia building. Help will be needed there for the visitors orientation, reminding them the program and places to be and giving them general information on the event and Toulouse. Any special needs by the visitors will also be taken care of at the reception desks.
Help will be needed to register luggage and clothes, hand out tickets and control the dropped objects. Cloakrooms will be set up in Cité de l’espace and for the Gala dinner at Cloître des Jacobins on Thursday 5th, evening.
Rooms access control
Before each demos and sessions, help will be needed to make sure that every participant is assisting the right demo or session or to make sure that the room is not overcrowded (limited seats in each rooms – manual counter). The volunteer will also be asked to participate in the logistics of the demonstrations and sessions (microphones switch…).
Access control will also need to be performed at the City Hall and at Cloître des Jacobins (Thursday 5th, evening).
Depending on the volunteer schedule, lunches and dinners will be provided by the organization.
An IPS t-shirt will be offered to every volunteer.
